Doctoral Programs in the Life Sciences

The Doctoral Programs consist of a three-year interdisciplinary graduate course curriculum combined with an experimental project leading to a dissertation. Seminars and courses are conducted in English; German language courses are offered to international students. A Master's degree or equivalent is required for admission. Applicants may choose between the following tracks: Man, Nutrition and Environment; Infection and Immunology; Heart, Lung and Blood Vessels; Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Neurosciences; Reproduction in Man and Animals; Stress Resistance and Adaptation; Synthetic Molecules and Materials for the Life Sciences; Dental Medicine.
